About Dr. Jeff Dykes

Biography

Dr. Jeff Dykes grew up in Houston, where he attended The Kinkaid School. For high school, he went to The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he graduated in 1996. Dr. Dykes spent many happy summers in the Hill Country while attending Camp La Junta, and vacationing with his family in the Lakeway area.

Dr. Dykes graduated from Texas A & M University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Cum Laude, in Microbiology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 2004. He completed two years of orthodontic residency training at the UT Health Science Center at Houston, receiving a Master of Science degree and Certificate of Specialization in Orthodontics in 2006.

When not at the office of Lakeway Orthodontics, Dr. Dykes pursues his passion for outdoor activities, and he enjoys spending time with family and friends. In addition to being an avid cyclist and runner, he competes in triathlons and marathons, and enjoys spending time trail running, hiking, camping and golfing in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Dr. Dykes goes the extra mile to ensure each patient’s comfort, safety and happiness. He utilizes the latest orthodontic technology and stays up to date with new techniques. Should a patient need multidisciplinary care, as is sometimes the case when crowns or fillings need to be done in conjunction with orthodontic treatment, Dr. Dykes enlists the help of highly qualified dental specialists and general practitioners on his patient’s behalf.

Dr. Dykes believes that everyone deserves to feel good about the appearance of their teeth and wants to help each of his patients achieve a healthy and confident smile. He and his staff provide exceptional orthodontic care to his patients while treating them with encouragement, warmth, and respect.
