Meet Your Lakeway Orthodontist
Dr. Brian Bolerjack attended Auburn University and completed his undergraduate degree in 3 years. He graduated from the Alabama School of Dentistry at the top of his class, and completed his orthodontics residency at the University of Tennessee. After the completion of his residency, Dr. Bolerjack went the extra mile and achieved Board Certification through the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association. After years of striving, Dr. Bolerjack is thankful, grateful, and humbled to be a practice-owner in Lakeway. He first worked as an associate in a group-practice in South Austin prior to becoming the owner of a successful practice in the Houston area. Returning to the Austin area has fulfilled Dr. Bolerjack’s biggest professional goal to date.
Dr. Bolerjack continues the Lakeway legacy of going the extra mile to ensure each patient’s comfort, safety and happiness. He utilizes the latest orthodontic technology and stays up to date with new techniques.
Above all, Dr. Bolerjack believes that everyone deserves to feel good about the appearance of their teeth and wants to help each of his patients achieve a healthy and confident smile. He and the Lakeway Ortho Team provide exceptional orthodontic care to each and every patient while treating them with encouragement, warmth, and respect.
Why an Orthodontist?
Orthodontist vs. Dentist
An orthodontist is a dentist, but a dentist is not an Orthodontist. All orthodontists are dentists first, but though not every dentist has the qualifications to be an orthodontist. Dr. Bolerjack continued his formal education for 2 or 3 additional years before receiving the necessary license and certification. As an orthodontist, Dr. Bolerjack has spent years studying nothing but how and why to move teeth. This includes what to do, how to plan, and how to execute the appropriate treatment plan.
Why does it matter if you see your Lakeway Orthodontist?
Specialists receive additional training to give them the skills needed to deal with more complex orthodontic problems. Dentists receive basic orthodontic training which allows them to perform root canals, extract wisdom teeth, and treat young children who do not need to see an orthodontist yet.
Seeing a specialist like your Lakeway orthodontist may change your experience in braces by:
-
- Providing additional treatment options.
-
- Giving you more efficient treatment and visits, because it is the office's primary area of care.
-
- Knowing that you'll receive the best possible outcome on your treatment plan, especially if you have severe bite problems that need to be addressed.
-
- Personal experience treating multiple cases that share your unique concerns
-
- Being seen more quickly, as a family dentist will be focused on longer patient cases or emergencies throughout the day.
You may think it's easier to have your orthodontic work completed by your dentist. Convenience shouldn't be a concern, because you will only be stopping by your Lakeway orthodontist's office every six to eight weeks.
And don't let price be a problem either! Lakeway Orthodontics is proud to provide affordable treatment in the Lakeway area.
Testimonials from your Lakeway orthodontist patients
My daughter and I had a great experience with Dr. Bolerjack and team at Lakeway Orthodontics. After having worked with a few different orthodontist offices I can say Dr. Bolerjack and the entire staff at Lakeway Orthodontics are wonderful with the kids as well as providing great work.
As a registered dental hygienist, I get asked pretty often who I suggest for a orthodontist. Although I see beautiful work coming from several orthodontists in this area, I cannot be happier that I choose Lakeway Orthodontics for my son.
Dr. Bolerjack did an amazing job on my son’s smile. I can’t say enough wonderful things about him and his staff. They not only do amazing work, but the office environment is professional and the staff was always friendly and punctual. I would highly recommend them!
